Statement of intent
During this project i wanted to do something with body part and I thought about legs arms heads faces and I said I have experience drawing fists and arms so I wanted to do that so I had to combine landscape and my arm so I thought about a tree and said a to myself that a tree grows our stretches its branches and grows its roots and I thought I could make an arm like a tree and say like nature we grow and stretch away slowly just like nature and the landscape and I went with that my inspiration was a drawing i made when I was 10 of my arm. This to me was quite a weird project but I ended up early enjoying i came to the conclusion to make this project out of clay. And when I think about this i think “as humans we start as a clump of clay and we mold and carve out future which can bloom or become ugly”

Ayman's Art
Its simply art.
As seen in the pictures below, it shows the start to where i am at this point. Right now i am having issues with the clay the clay was easy to use the first couple of days until this moment it was good when the clay was moist it was very flexible but after a couple days it started cracking and falling apart and there was nothing i could do against it, so i searched for something new to use to make this sculpture of sorts.
Lighter Photo
Here we were told to find something (anything) while we were on a walk and then we were told to take a picture of the object that we found.

how well do you think you are doing with self management? i think that with self management at first i was very slow and did not show much interest in my work and now i like what i am doing and enjoy it and because of that i now do my work quicker and i enjoy it.
as you can see here i have finished sketching the overall shape and look of the boys portrait and i have also started to paint the basic colors and skin tones, as you can see in the bottom right corner i have been given a picture of the child where most of the details have been removed so that you can see the all the base colors which i can base my portrait on as i continue to paint and develop my skills.
here you can see i have decided the size of the actual portrait and the location, i also have started to sketch the basic shape and look of this person and i have shown the resemblance between the photo and the portrait.
as you can see here i worked on making the vibrant colors showing that the boy has wrote part of his book and my goal for when i remove the tape is to show that there is still things to be written and that he is not finished just yet, also in this lesson i managed to finish painting the blue in the background so next lesson i hope to start drawing the grid lines and then start painting the face and shoulders of the boy so that you know who's feelings i am trying to portray in my portrait.
here as you can see at first i started to tape parts of the painting to show an affect which is that i wan to show that parts of a young boys life have not been written as i think that everyone has a book and they write there own story and that he has not finished writing his story.

Twiggy
Twiggy, is a photographic portrait made by the artist named Cecil Beaton. I have chosen to look at this portrait because i love photography and this is very close to it and, because the portrait painting in my opinion is very interesting to look at.At first glance the eyes on this women look very large, which makes you think about how abstract they are compared to her head, another part that caught my attention is that her Left Eye looks cross eyed because her eyes look like they are looking at two different things at once.
This portrait makes me feel like she saw something that completely took her emotion away because she has a straight poker face which initially made me feel sad for her as if her emotions were taken away somehow.
It reminds me of the time i lost someone very close to me, i felt like i could never feel anything again i just felt empty and lost in a big nowhere.
The name of the artist who made this beautiful portrait is, Cecil Beaton. Cecil Beaton was born January 14, 1904 and died on January 18, 1980 age 76, he was born in Hampstead UK, and passed away in Broad Chalke UK.
I could not find what the intention of this photo is or what the artist was trying to convince or portray through his image, although by the way i have analysed this photo i think that her feelings were robbed from her and she tried to continue on with her life and tried but she could not keep up as shown by her Christmas sweater it also shows very definitely that she had crossed eyes but that has nothing to do with what the artist is trying to portray.

Girl with a pearl earring
Girl with a pearl earring, was made by a famous dutch painter who goes by the name Johannes Vermeer. Johannes Vermeer was born on the 31st of October 1632, and died in December 1675. The art piece was made in 1665
When i first look at this picture i see a young girl a very pale young girl, whom has a large earring and i see the blue and yellow turban at first thinking it was a headband with hair coming out of the back end of it, it looks like the young girl turned around is directly looking at me.
This painting reminds of times when i call someone's name and they turn back and look me directly in the eyes
The painting was not meant to be a portrait it was meant to be a tronie which is a 17th century term for head or face, the painting shows a woman wearing an exotic dress and an oriental turban and a very large pearl earring
The painting itself was made with expensive oil paints, and from the looks of the painting i feel like the man whom made it took a lot of time and care towards making this with smooth brush strokes and short ones and the way he uses the oil paints really defines certain parts of the painting for example her skin is very pail making the dress and the turban more bright and, the over sized pearl and her eyes have a pleasing shine to them.
I really like that the painting has a dark background which brings out her face and turban mostly her face because her face is very light and makes the whole painting more vibrant and pretty,
